The Genesis of the Harbour Classic:
For Sale at Demo Price of $1,098m

After a year of cruising and launches on the boat show circuit, the owners of the first Harbour Classic 40 are now offering this delightful boat for sale at a demonstrator price of $1, 098m. This is almost a $170,000 discount from its true retail value.

After years as consummate boat owners, Bruce and Julie Scott knew what they wanted and needed in a 40-foot day boat and set about designing and building it.  Less than 12 months ago, the Harbour Classic 40 arrived in Australia to much fanfare.  It was Whitehaven’s first foray into day boats.

Her design heritage is clearly from a bygone, glamorous era yet adapted to the modern cruising lifestyle.  The result: a boat easy to maintain and operate so when the mood struck, they could simply get out on the water with little fuss.

Having extensively cruised Sydney Harbour, Pittwater and the Gold Coast’s Broadwater, the boat is now for sale and offered at a demo boat price complete with full new boat warranty and extended engine warranty.

Her new owners will enjoy a saloon that completely opens to a cockpit creating a superlative entertaining space.  There is ample accommodation in the forepeak and midships.  The distinct pearlescent aqua hull will turn heads and friends will be awed by the modern interior.

This boat has been designed under the watchful eye of yacht designer and naval architect, Misha Merzliakov, and put through its paces since arriving in Australia.  It has proven to be a user-friendly and reliable boat which doesn’t compromise on style and is loaded with options.
